Kari Hennigan, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist with over fifteen years of experience providing evidence and strengths-based psychotherapy. She frequently incorporates mindfulness-based practices and strives to help her clients access their own inherent wisdom in order to find healing from within.
Kari enjoys working with adults who are struggling to find meaning in their lives, dealing with depression and anxiety (including pre-natal and post-partum), life transitions (including new parenthood), negative body image, and individuals dealing with serious medical issues. She has advanced training in mindfulness-based practices, Perinatal Mood Disorders, and Nutritional Psychology, which explores the impact of food on mood. Kari welcomes clients of all cultures and identities and offers a compassionate, down to earth, and non-judgmental space to explore sensitive and difficult issues.
